FXA Football is Northern Virginia's (VA/DC/MD) Largest Co-ed, Men's, & Women's Adult Flag Football League with over 480 teams & 7,680 players annually. We offer Team & Individual (Free Agent) Registrations for our Spring, Summer, Fall, & Winter Seasons.

1. PLAYER PAYMENT (This registration ends 1-2 weeks early to give players time to register & pay) - The Player Payment Team registration will allow team captains to register the team in our system for free and allow the players to pay FXA directly.
After the team manager registers the team, they will receive a confirmation email that will include 2 player payment registration links, an in-county player registration link and an out-of-county player registration link. The captains will need to send these links out to all of their players. The player registration will add the player to the team roster once payment is complete (this could take up to 7 days due to PayPal processing the payment).
The player fee is based on a 16 player roster (we suggest 10 males & 6 females for co-ed league or 16 males for men's league) which will equal the team fee. If teams choose to carry fewer players, then the person that registered the team in the website will be responsible for the difference in cost. If team chooses to carry more than 16 players, the additional money paid over the Full Team Payment fee will not be refunded as this registration process is very time consuming. We admit, this Player Payment registration is more expensive per player than the Full Team Payment, but relieves the captain from collecting money from each player.
2. FULL TEAM PAYMENT - The Full Team Payment registration will allow captains to register the team in our system, and pay the full amount.
After the team manager registers the team and completes the full team payment, they will receive a confirmation email that will include 2 player registration links, an in-county player registration link and an out-of-county player registration link. The captains will need to send these links out to all of their players. The player registration will add the player to the team roster. We highly recommend that you use Square Cash to collect money from your players. No Bank Account info needed, just your debit card!
TEAM ROSTER INFORMATION
Before any player can participate in FXA, he/she must complete the player registration and add themselves to the team(s) roster using the registration links sent to the captain (or individual that registered the team) in the registration confirmation email.
You must have a minimum of 16 people on the roster (we suggest 10 males and 6 females for Co-ed League & 16 males for the Men's League) to ensure you will be able to field a team each and every week.
Please note that out-of-county players are now required to pay a $25 out-of-county fee that is invoiced to FXA by Fairfax County.
Maximum Roster size is 24 players, but only 18 players can be dressed and ready to play each game. You can use subs as needed each week as long as they have completed the player waiver (before the game), are reported to the referee before the game begins, and the player can provide a valid ID.
Once your roster is entered, all your players will automatically receive an email about game cancelations, delays, reschedules, etc. which will ultimately make your life very easy as team captain.
PLAYER REGISTRATION
The Player Registration not only adds the player to the team(s), but also serves as the Player Waiver & Release Form. Players must complete this registration before the start of the season to avoid paying a $10 late fee. The links will expire the day of the 2nd week of the season game!
It is the responsibility of the Team Captain to make sure every player has completed the player registration or (for guest players) player waiver. Any player that does not complete the player waiver & release form shall not be permitted to play.
OUT-OF-COUNTY PLAYERS
Out-of-County players will now have to pay an extra $25 per team/season because of the out-of-county fees that are charged by Fairfax County.
TEAM JERSEYS / SHIRTS / EQUIPMENT
FXA Football only requires that each team player wear the exact same colored shirt.
If your team needs to purchase new Jerseys, we have formed a partnership with Reston Shirt and Studio One Screen Printing. They are a local company and will help you create a team logo to print on their high quality, affordable shirts (print won't start to peel off after 5 washes). They will even print on existing jerseys or shirts that your team has already purchased, but needs numbers added on the back.
All Co-ed, Men's, & Women's League equipment (flag belts, sideline markers, & pylons) will be provided at the field.
