How to Add Player Stats

To enter Player Stats, you must be listed as the Manager or Coach on your team roster and follow the instructions below:

  1. Click on “Sign in” at the Top Right Corner and Enter your email address and password
  2. Click on the TEAM INFO tab
  3. Your team should already be selected. If not, select your Season, League, then your team name
  4. Scroll over the TEAM INFO tab again, and select “Results”
  5. Click on the (middle) white graph icon
  6. Enter stats for each player, one category (Offensive, Defense, QB, Special Teams) at a time, then click Save at the bottom. Moving from one category to another without clicking save will cause you to lose everything you entered)
  7. DO NOT CHANGE THE POSITION. Position must show as "Player" for each member.
  8. The Top 20 Players for each league can then be found here on the main page of the website

Only the Manager or Coach (listed on the Roster) can enter Player stats.

Game Score Updated / Correction

Send an email to gamescore@fairfaxathletics.com with your team name, your opponent's team name, and both scores, so we can confirm this information with the referees and then enter the scores.

Teams have 2 weeks (14 days) to inform the league of an incorrect score posted to the website / standings. If they find the error after 15 days, the league cannot guarantee the score will be changed.

Change our Team Name or Shirt Color

Yes, just send us an email to football@fairfaxathletics.com and we will update the information on the website. All information must be finalized before the 1st week of games.

Shirt Color Conflict

If both teams playing against each other wear the same color jersey/shirt, the Home Team is responsible for changing to a different colored jersey/shirt. A pinnie can also be used.

Team Attendance Feature

The team attendance function will allow team managers and coaches to poll their players for attendance at future games and practices.

From the Team Schedule page, coaches will find a magnifying glass icon that reads "Attending." Once the magnifying glass icon has been selected, the resulting page will display three columns, Attending, Not Attending, and No Response. If this is a new event, or responses have not been captured, all individuals associated with the team will be displayed beneath the No Response column.

Choosing the email button above each of the columns will allow the coach or team manager to send an email to that group of people. When choosing the email button above the No Response column, this will generate an automatic email to all of the individuals in that column. The receiving individual will receive an email with the event information and two links: "I'm In" and "I'm Out." Selecting "I'm In" will place this individual in the Attending column on the Attending section of the Schedule page. Selecting "I'm Out" will place the individual in the Not Attending column.

Starting a New Team & Need Players

We want to start a new team this year, but need more female (or male) players? Can FXA provide me with free agents?

Possibly, but first we suggest checking the Free Agent Player List. If no free agents are available, then we suggest putting an ad on Craig's List or Sportsvite.com asking for players. If that doesn't work, then send us an email asking for players. Typically after registration has closed, we receive emails from people looking to join a team.

Player Waiver & Release Form for Guest / Substitute Players

Each guest / substitute player must complete the Player Waiver & Release Form before the team's first game. The waiver form can be found here: http://waiver.fxafootball.com

Once this online waiver is completed, you will never have to complete another Fairfax Athletics waiver again unless your personal information changes (Address, Email Address, Cell Phone #, etc). This waiver will then be archived in our system and will be used for all Fairfax Athletics sports and social events.

*Please Note - If a player uses multiple email addresses (work & personal), they need to enter all email addresses in the email field, separated by a comma.

Find a Team's Schedule

To see the weekly schedule for a particular team, click on the "Master Schedule" from the vertical menu bar on the left side of the page.

To see the season schedule for a particular team (or division or all teams), click on "TEAM INFO" tab from the horizontal menu bar at the top of any page. Once there, first select "Schedule" from the vertical menu bar on the left side of the page and the Current Season & Year as the season on the left-most drop down menu. Next, select the desired League from the middle drop down menu (e.g., Tuesday Night Co-ed League) and then select the desired Team from the far right drop down menu.

POLICY FAQs
Weather Cancelations / Delay Policy

All Fairfax Athletics leagues adhere to Fairfax County policy regarding severe weather (thunder, lightning) which all players, coaches, managers, and referees are responsible for implementing. It is a requirement that if any individual involved with the League--including non-playing spectators--sees lightning or hears thunder, they must bring it to the referee's attention immediately. EVERYONE shares in this responsibility.

When a member of the referee crew sees lightning or hears thunder, or is alerted to such by a player, coach, manager, or spectator, the referee will immediately suspend play for 20 minutes. Everyone MUST clear the field and retreat to the parking lot. Anyone who remains on the pitch after the referee has ordered everyone off the field acknowledges that they do so at their own risk and that neither the League nor the referee crew assigned to the match can be held responsible or any injuries occurring as long as play is suspended. At no time may an individual ask the referee to ignore the lightning or thunder or insist that play be allowed to continue.

The referee will wait 30 minutes from the last flash of lightning or peal of thunder. Each time lightning re-appears or thunder is heard, the referee MUST re-start the 30 minute clock. There are NO exceptions to this waiting period. Once 30 minute pass with no additional thunder or lightning, the referee will resume play with the appropriate re-start from when play was suspended.

Because the League must operate within the constraints of field permits, the referee has the authority to shorten the halves of the game to try and complete the game or to cancel the match in its entirety.

Game Cancelation / Reschedule Policy
  • Games may be cancelled due to existing weather conditions, dangerous or unplayable field conditions, facility constraints, etc. FXA staff makes every effort to play all scheduled games, thus we will not cancel games until absolutely necessary. Therefore, if you call the FXA Hotline to find out if the fields are open and/or games are canceled, remember we will not update the hotline until close to the start of the game. With that said, we will update the hotline as soon as we have updated status.
  • If the games are canceled, FXA will update the hotline immediately. FXA will then change the status of the field to Closed on the website, which will send out an email to all roster players letting them know the game is canceled. It is still the captain's responsibility to inform all teammates of the cancellation. If a game is cancelled on site, FXA will attempt to contact those teams still scheduled to play the remainder of the day/night. Depending on the time of cancellation, some teams will have to be notified on site. If we do cancel, follow next week's schedule unless otherwise notified, (i.e. if June 20th games are cancelled, teams should follow the June 27th schedule for their next game). The games that are cancelled will be made up towards the end of the season if time allows.
  • In extreme circumstances, FXA reserves the right to run a shortened season without a refund. FXA will make every attempt to get all regular season games played, however for every two (2) game cancellations due to weather, the season may be shortened one (1) regular season game. FXA also reserves the right to schedule games on days other than your regularly scheduled league day/night if necessary.
  • These policies are designed to make the league run as smoothly and safely as possible, and provide continuity for its participants. Each player in the league is responsible for this information: please advise your team of these rules / league policies and thanks for playing.
Refund Policy

Absolutely no refunds, credits, vouchers, or transfers to a future season, no matter the circumstances (includes, but is not limited to illness and injury), within two weeks (14 days) of the originally posted start date of the class or league. There will be a $15 processing fee for individuals and a $50 processing fee for teams for ALL refunds requested more than 14 days prior to the originally posted start date of the league or class. There will be a $25 fee for any returned checks.

ALL SOCIAL EVENTS/PARTIES/OUTINGS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, NO MATTER THE CIRCUMSTANCES.

Please send an email to refund@fairfaxathletics.com,and if the refund is approved, we will process the refund with 15 business days.

Forfeit Policy

If your team needs to forfeit a game for whatever reason, please email or text us within 6 hours before your Monday - Friday game time and 24 hours before your Saturday or Sunday game time. Email is football@fairfaxathletics.com, Text # is 703-382-9111

Otherwise the penalty is $100, and will need to be paid before your next game. This will now give you leverage to hold your players accountable for attendance. THESE PENALTIES WILL BE ENFORCED!
